Trunking

Analogue radio communications
in « TRUNKED» mode

Under "Trunked" analogue mode, all users of a system share a common range of frequencies preprogrammed on their devices. These users are assigned to groups (Group ID) and those are programmed to receive only transmissions they are assigned to.

This mode of communication is similar to "Duplex" mode. However, all users will share several "Duplex" frequencies which they are assigned to when they need to communicate together.

When a user of a group tried to join another station from his group, a free frequency from a pre-programmed range is allocated to this communication. If a radio from a group B attempts to communicate, this one will not have the same frequency as the one first assigned to the group A. It will receive another frequency available in the list. Then, by the "Trunked" mode, it's possible that several groups of users can simultaneously perform a communication. In this way, we obtain dynamic, efficient and flexible mode of communication.
